FAQs
1.I’m new to hammocking. What do I need to get started?
All you need is a hammock and hammock straps. All ENO hammocks come with a set of carabiners or aluminum toggles to attach to your hammock suspension system.
Carabiners are compatible with all ENO hammock straps, whereas our lightweight toggles are compatible with our Helios Hammock Straps. You can add carabiners to any hammock with toggles if you want to use the Atlas Hammock Straps or Apollo Hammock Straps.
Our TravelNest Hammock + Straps Combo as well as some of our hammock bundles come with straps included. Be sure to check the product description or contact us at: [email protected] any questions.

2.How do I wash my Hammock and other accessories?
You can find product care instructions on the backside of your product’s tyvek label attached to each stuff sack as well as at our Product Setup and Care page.
For hammocks, we recommend removing carabiners and either hand washing or machine washing in a front loading washer with mild detergent. Hang to dry. Learn how to wash your hammock in more detail at this blog.
3. How do I use my Hammock? How do I care for my hammock?
You can find complete set up and care instructions attached to each ENO product’s stuff sack, or our Product Set Up & Care page.
Here are a few helpful reminders:
Check your gear before each use to ensure it is in good, working condition. What should you look for? Check out our Safety & Instructions page.
Only use your ENO products as directed – never hang your hammock higher than 18″ from the ground when in use and only hang it from secure attachment points like healthy, mature trees or a hammock stand. Not sure? Don’t risk it.
Never leave your hammock outside when not in use (even just for the weekend). Store it in its attached stuff sack in a cool, dry, dark space when not in use. UV damage causes your ENO Hammock to fade in color and become brittle which leads to tearing. If you see discoloration on your hammock – it is time to replace it.
While hammocking, remember to remove any sharp objects from your person, i.e. pocket knives, car keys and/or stilettos. Sharp objects can puncture or tear your hammock.
Remember that puppies and kitties love hammocking, too, but they’ve got sharp nails so hammock with caution. If any small tears (2 inches or less) do appear, pick up a Hammock Repair Kit.
Remember: using any hammock carries inherent risk. Accidents happen. Use with caution.

4.Will you repair my hammock and other gear?
ENO will repair your hammock back to (almost) new if the stuff sack has come off the hammock, if the compression strap has come off the stuff sack, or if the hammock knots have become untied or are fraying. Additionally, we can repair some other products like hammock bug net clips, tarp cord locks, and Lounger DL Chair shock cord!
We also offer a variety of replacement parts for your ENO products.

*Large fabric tears cannot be repaired but may be eligible for replacement. Small holes or burns should be repaired at home with our Hammock Repair Kit.
